The Great-er Discarder-er is an extension for Google Chrome that helps the browser run faster by discarding tabs. The extension helps you to manage old tabs by removing them from the browser.
The extension ensures that there are no old tabs when you first open Chrome. However, old tabs are sometimes left after you closed Chrome and restarted it. The extension checks the active tab and discards the oldest tab. This way, the latest tab is always the first tab displayed.
To start the discard process, go to Settings - Advanced Settings - Manage Discards and set the discard criteria.
